On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, David Lawrence Mistrot, a loving son, a brother and friend to many, lost his life at age forty-one in a traffic accident in Dallas, Texas.

An avid reader and unpublished author, he was filled with curiosity and a persistent desire to learn new things. He enjoyed new challenges and did well in learning new skills. He was also a go-to person for the subject matter in which he excelled.

David was born in Houston, Texas and spent most of his younger years there until he, his mother and brother moved to Colorado where he grew up with his family in the agricultural business. He later relocated to the DFW area where he has resided for the past 20+ years.

A memorial service will be held in the Houston, Texas area. The date will be announced in the future.

David is survived by his father Lawrence Mistrot and his two brothers Jonathan and Timothy Volberding. He has now joined his mother, Patricia "Sunny" Volberding who passed away in 1997.
